Hello. I’m Laura. I am a mother, registered nurse, educator, and owner of The Birth Plan(er). I have 17 years of experience working with new and expectant parents as both a hospital nurse and childbirth educator. Educating expectant parents in their homes was born out of requests for a more intimate childbirth preparation experience. Every family and birth are unique, and your childbirth preparation should be too. Working with you in an environment where you feel at ease allows you to ask the questions that empower you for the birth experience you desire. This is a precious and intimate time. It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you prepare yourself and your home for baby.
